The circle task from @chrismcgrane84 is designed for after the initial teaching phase.  It is to help learners develop appreciation for the simple variations in the most common shapes they will have to find either the areas of perimeters of.  Common issue is learners getting confused with the rationale for halving values.  Is it because we are finding radius from diameter, or is it because it’s a semi-circle or is it both?
