Learners could be given the plotted graphs and the equations and asked to match them.

Learners could predict what each graph will look like, including the details of it’s key features and points before checking their prediction either through doing the appropriate working or using a tool such as Desmos.

Learners could generate their own examples in a similar or different pattern.

Learners could generalise for roots x = m and x = n and for constant multiplier k.
