
This task, inspired by Craig Barton’s SSDD problem template aims to focus learners on the difference in language between the four most common percentage questions found at National 5. I have used this task two days in a row, simply altering the percentage and then rearranging the questions on screen. Possible extension would be for learners to generate their own four questions (without these examples being visible). A demonstration of understanding of the difference between the types would be if learners could generate examples that satisfy the four types.
