Three Circle Facts

This task is rooted in the idea of pupils generating instances of the circle theorems themselves.  I think too often their experience is of interpreting diagrams other people have made.  Synthesis of instances of an idea is an important step towards understanding.  

It is a demanding activity, which is a good thing.  High levels of cognitive demand are important in developing and securing recognition and appreciation of new ideas.  

I would offer this in pairs and ask pupils to work through, swapping questions with each other and then checking each others work.
