Chris McGrane – Résumé
I have been working in Education for 15 years.
I have taught in four very different schools.
I spent much of the first decade of my career in West Lothian.
I then came to Glasgow to take up the Principal Teacher of Maths role at Hillhead High School, where I stayed for 3 and a half years.
I then spent 18 months working for La Salle Education, delivering CPD and training across Scotland, from Galashiels to Lerwick and everywhere else in between.
However, the call of the classroom never left…
I am now Principal Teacher of Maths at Holyrood Secondary in Glasgow – Scotland’s largest school.
I am the author of “Mathematical Tasks – The Bridge from Teaching to Learning”, edited by my friend and colleague Mark McCourt.
I also, occasionally, run the Glasgow branch of the Association of Teachers of Mathematics (ATM).
Finally, I have significant experience working with pupils on an individual and group tuition basis. I will be working with https://www.saturdayschoolglasgow.com this coming year, delivering fortnightly National 5 sessions.
