It’s one of those things that really shouldn’t be any issue, but often can be. Higher candidates can struggle with basic fraction arithmetic in terms of pi. Rather than get upset about these things it is probably better to address the problem. This sheet is my attempt at helping pupils developing some fluency and confidence working in terms of pi.
