Recurrence Relations

A few little tasks to supplement the teaching of recurrence relations.

I think it’s important that pupils get a sense of how recurrence relations are defined iteratively, using a term-to-term rule, as opposed to the position-to-term rules they are used to.

The final task is about investigating the limits. I like pupils to graph these points and observe the convergent behaviour. The final one is a nice oscillating example.
