I used this task for some intervention with a class who were rusty with quadratic factorisation. This task uses the “ac” method. The kids seemed to like it and find it useful. I thought the lesson went well. A subsequent version with some non-prime values for both the a and c coefficents would increase the challenge. I’ll get round to writing it at some point!
